If you have not already done so, I encourage you to join the PTA.  Membership is $5.00 per person and our PTA works very hard to help provide programs for students and to help our school.

Tips for parents:
       Please listen to your child read.  Encourage them to sound out unfamiliar words and guide them as needed.
       Hand your child a handful of change and encourage them to count the money.  We teach them to start with the largest coin amount.

Homework - Parents - Please refer to homework sheet for assigned homework. 

Please encourage your child to work independently - then check their results. 
Please remember to attempt ALL homework, try not to turn in a blank sheet - this does not tell us what you tried to do. I do not expect perfect homework - in fact perfect homework does not always help me figure out what areas your child still needs help with.
